Mansee is a Textile Designer who loves well done spaces, beautifully crafted materials and objects and traveling to places with history or natural beauty.

 

Growing up in Delhi with a craft aficionado mother she developed an early love for Indian arts and crafts, visiting exhibitions and crafts emporia right from school days.

This interest was further cemented when she studied design in premier institutes like NIFT, New Delhi (1997-2000) and NID, Ahmedabad (2000-2003)

 

Visiting exhibitions and craft haats, visiting her hometown Delhi under any pretext, celebrating the beauty of Indian Design, interacting with fellow Design entrepreneurs, working with grass root artisans in remote villages is what keeps her going.

Other than styling and making special furnishings for contemporary homes and hotels, she has undertaken several design and skill development workshops with rural and urban craft clusters in north and west India.

She lives in Pune with her husband, 2 kids and a dog.
